Inclusive Team Culture - Building and Facilitating a Diverse, Inclusive Organization. Amherst Men's Soccer Coach Justin Serpone does not have all of the answers. He does, however, care deeply about creating a diverse roster and giving student-athletes opportunities.
In this talk, coach Serpone will dig deep into the ways coaches can take to find and identify under represented talents. Explore Amherst College approach to finding players with economic disadvantages and inability to play in big clubs/be seen in scouting tournaments. This talk provides a forum for discussion and reflection as it relates to how we can all do better in diversifying our teams, creating opportunity and making sure the EVERYONE feels welcome and embraced.
