Lynn Berling-Manuel

United Soccer Coaches, with over 30,000 US and international members, is the largest soccer coaches association in the world. Berling-Manuel led the rebrand of the organization in 2017 with a name change from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) to help better tell the story of the wide range of advocacy, education, and services the organization provides all levels of soccer coaches from youth to pro. In eliminating an acronym it also elevated the Association from the alphabet soup of soccer. The Association produces the largest annual soccer convention in the world with nearly 250 education field sessions, panels, lectures and round tables, an exhibit hall with nearly 400 companies and 12,000 coaches, businesses and soccer executives in attendance. The Association is the selecting body for the soccer All-America Awards for college, high school and youth players who are honored at an annual luncheon at the Convention as well as currently also hosting both the MLS and NWSL college drafts. The next event is Jan.17-21, 2018 at the Philadelphia Convention Center.
