About this Talk

Join Ed Foster-Simeon, President & CEO of the U.S. Soccer Foundation, for a discussion about how to engage kids and families in underserved communities in soccer. Ed will talk about the Foundation’s two core programs - Soccer for Success and Safe Places to Play - and how the Foundation has been able to engage nearly 100,000 participants a year in underserved communities across the country and create mini-pitches for organized programming and free play. He’ll also talk with Soccer for Success partners who have successfully worked to engage kids from underserved communities and bridge the gap to unite the entire soccer community.

What you’ll learn: How to authentically engage in underserved communities that have traditionally been left out of the sport

Best practices from clubs that have grown participation in the sport in their communities

Opportunities that exist to partner with the Foundation and its partners to grow the game
