About this speaker
Val was a two time All American and Academic American at UCLA. She represented the US in the FIFA U20 World Cup in Russia in 2006 and played four years professionally in the WPS (LA Sol and Philadelphia Independence) and Damallsvenskan (KIF Orebro, Sweden) before moving into youth and college coaching. She has served with our US Youth National Teams as an assistant coach on the girl's side. She is an advocate for girls and women in sport.
