Terry Leiweke

About this speaker

Terry played on the nationally ranked University of Houston football team. After leaving school he worked at ABC Sports. He then returned to Houston and became the Director of Sports and Entertainment for the City of Houston’s state of the art facility, The Summit.

Terry was a founding member a number of successful launches including the Major Indoor Soccer League, Sportsview Productions which packaged, sold, and produced over 100 live telecasts a year and was a founding member of Wrenchead.com-an online automotive aftermarket company. Wrenchead was the first-ever direct link out of NASCAR.com.

Mr. Leiweke founded and launched the made for television World Series of Golf event. The World Series of Golf operated under a unique patented method of play and incorporated Texas Hold ‘Em Poker with golf. He packaged and produced the events which aired on network TV. Leiweke was the co-founder of Absolute Sports Info which operated a branded digital media company –The Linemakers. It provided daily, digital editorial and video content generated by Vegas insiders.

Terry is currently involved in the development of online and live event gaming products.
