Ruth E. Nicholson, Founder of Nicholson Facilitation & Associates, LLC, is an internationally-certified professional facilitator and assessor, graphic facilitator, and trained mediator in private practice in Snohomish County, Washington USA. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and offers over 20 years’ experience in organizational development, facilitation, conflict resolution, public policy, and non-profit organization management. Ruth has worked in youth and semi-professional sports, particularly soccer, for more than 30 years. She helps youth sports organizations, particularly clubs, better support coaches, teams, and players. Ruth is the founder of GO! which offers proven governance, leadership, and administrative tools for boards of directors, coaches, club operations staff, and volunteers. Ruth designed the international 2019 Think Tank to Improve Youth Sports, which engaged over 60 speakers from two dozen sports on five continents. In 2018, she was a finalist for the Innovator of the Year award for youth soccer. She is an avid writer and columnist, and a regular workshop presenter for coaching education events , including national sports leadership events, conferences, and conventions. Her work in sports has engaged coaches, sports professionals, and organizations in North America, Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America. Ruth's passion is helping people build the relationships necessary to develop sustainable agreements and build well-functioning organizations.
